U.S.’ Davies hurt in fatal car crash.

Charlie Davies, a U.S. soccer forward, underwent was in surgery on this afternoon after being involved in a severe single vehicle accident on the George Washington Parkway in Virginia during the early hours of Tuesday morning. The U.S. Team qualified for the 2010 World Cup this past Saturday.
